High Adventure 2006

Date : July 26 - 29th

Leave Issaquah Wednesday evening on July 26th for our base camp/trail head.

Location

• Either Enchantments or Spider Meadows depending on how permits work out with Enchantments
• Originally we were planning on heading up to Ross Lake, however with the portage fee and transfer time there is not enough time to do this trip justice.

Itinerary

• Wedensday July 26th
  • Meet at Church at 5:00 pm
  • Drive to Leavenworth
  • Pick up permit at Ranger station
  • Grab some dinner in town
  • Camp up Icicle Creek Road
    • There are 8 first come first serve campgrounds
• Thursday July 27th
  • Leave one car at Snow Lakes Trailhead
  • Drive up Eightmile Road to Stuart / Colchuck Trailhead
  • Hike up to Colchuck and stare at Aasgard Pass
• Friday July 28th
  • wake extra extra early and head up Aasgard Pass
  • Spend day exploring Enchantments
  • Descend into Snow Zone and camp in Snow Zone
• Saturday July 29th
  • Hike down to Snow Creek Trailhead
